Pride in the Moorlands 2026 is a vibrant, community-led weekend celebrating LGBTQ+ lives, creativity, and pride. We rely on a dedicated team of 30+ volunteers whose time, energy, and care help make this event possible. Whether you are an individual or want to come along to the event as a team for your volunteering time, we would love your support.
🚨 Urgent Volunteer Needs
- Saturday 13th June — Pride at the Butter Market: We need some volunteers for this event.
- Time Commitment: We are asking volunteers to please consider doing a couple of hours of help.
📅 Volunteer Training Dates
- Thursday 11th June: Hate Crime Training (Online).
- Tuesday 23rd June: Pride Volunteer training from 5:30-6:30pm (Online).
🗣️ Join Our Steering Group
Our success is built on collaboration, and our steering group is made up of local residents from the LGBTQ+ community and allies who co-create the event from lived experience.
- Wednesday 17th June: Pride Steering group meeting (Online).
- Details: This is the final meeting before the big weekend.
