ALWAYS HERE: Untold Stories from the LGBT+ Community in North Staffordshire is a socially engaged photography and heritage project. Over two years, participants have shared memories, experiences and defining life moments through workshops, interviews, photoshoots, research and oral histories — lives shaped by changing social attitudes, political reform, and local and national events.
This autumn the project comes together in exhibitions across Stoke-on-Trent, a new publication, and a series of free creative workshops at Spode Museum.
Supported by GRAIN Projects and the North Midlands OLGBT Older People's Group, with Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
